Estimated gross ~$1.18 billion (14.70M units x $79.99 launch price) — but this materially OVERSTATES game-attributable revenue, because a large share of copies were sold inside the Switch 2 console bundle at the console's price point, and Nintendo does not break out standalone versus bundled sales. Regional figures: 782,566 physical copies in Japan in the first four days (Famitsu) and roughly 869,000 in the US, around 79% of all Switch 2 sales in that period (Circana). Nintendo does not disclose per-title production budgets.
